Since our customers have given us rave reviews on our Bell-A-Roma Soy Candles, we decided to see what all the hype was about. Since no one is thinking Christmas right now (with temps 100+ every day for about 2 months straight) we decided to burn a Holly Berry pillar candle. As I’ve posted here about our Soy Candles, It shouldn’t surprise me any that after 2 weeks or so, the thing is still going! The Pillar Candles are 22 ounces. Our Soy Candles burn approximately 8 hours per ounce. That equals about 176 hours of burn time. We burn our candle approximately 8 hours a day 6 days a week. So we have probably about 96 hours on it already. As you can see from the picture, it’s down about half way. It does smell good…..especially after we blow out the flame, just like our customers have said.
So……do you wonder HOW it burns? Ours has gotten hit and little pieces broken off here and there and “squished in” from trying to move it when it was hot, but it burns straight down….leaving a thin shell on the outside. Even where it was “squished in”, which was right at the wax level while the candle was burning, it never once dripped or ran over the edge of the candle. The wick? It hasn’t ever needed to be trimmed, and we haven’t had any trouble at all lighting it each morning.
I, personally, am not a candle person. I haven’t been since we had a cat that didn’t like them and would put the flame out, or try the best he could to put it out. He once knocked over a candle and the wax (it wasn’t a soy candle) went all over our clock radio and bed side table. I was fortunate to catch it in time, and there was no real damage done, except to the speaker of the radio. We no longer have that cat, but we do have cats, so for now I’ll stick with my incense sticks, but if I were ever to burn a candle at home, I’d for sure go with one of the Bell A Roma candles! Customers don’t lie….and they SURE know a good product when they get one.
We have decided to do several limited availability Smells To GO car scents fragrances. Most of them once they are gone the fragrance probably won’t be back. Our permanent scent, for now is Polo Sport type. It will be available in several colors, eventually. Our standard design will be the T-Shirts….like pictured in the original post (linked above). We also will have a dolphin, butterfly, christmas tree (or pine tree which ever you want to call it), and a moon.
Our first LIMITED TIME ONLY scent, courtesy of Steve……is Beef Jerky. Defiantly a “man scent” . Available shapes is T-Shirt only.
These are also available on line….in limited quantities. We also have the Polo Sport scent available. check out the website for more information.

I’ve been asked that question many times. My only answer is that incense takes in moisture. This usually happens when the humidity is high, or when there has been a lot of rain, or snow. My suggestion when this happens, relight it and keep lighting it, or save it for later and get a new stick.
Yes, sometimes even the name brand sticks go out! I’ve been burning other incense (other than smelly good stuffs)……and I’ve had a few go out and I’ve had to relight them. I’ve also had a couple that just won’t burn at all.
It happens….whether it’s hand dipped or name brand stuff.
